elections having been announced for u.p. assembly all parties will be upto their gimmicks.we have seen criminalisation of politics and absolute corruption in the past.it becomes the duty of the real leaders of society -the intellectuals,the thinkers and philosophers- to guide and help the people make the right choices in the political field so that the state gets the right governance.it shall be proper for each of us to engage in debate and create an atmosphere of fearlessness and correct information so that only the right,deserving and the upright get elected.as a first step we should all take a pledge that we shall go out for voting come what may.we must plead with all to use this most important right.i feel that if the voting could go up to 80% the complexion of the assembly would change automatically.regarding the question of voting without prejudices and favour i have only to say that if the enlightened start doing this others are sure to follow them.
